A friend has agreed to look after your house and pet while you are on holiday

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. As you know, I’m about to embark on a much-needed vacation, and I’m incredibly grateful that you’ve agreed to look after my house and my dear cat, Momo. Your kindness means the world to me.

Now, let’s talk about Momo. She’s quite low-maintenance, but she does have her quirks. First off, feeding: She’s got a refined palate (don’t we all?). Her meals—breakfast and dinner—are in the kitchen pantry. Just follow the feeding schedule, and she’ll be purring contentedly. Momo also loves her play sessions. A feather toy or a simple string will do the trick. And don’t forget the cuddles—she’s a sucker for those.

Beyond Momo, a few household duties to keep things running smoothly: Swing by the mailbox daily for any letters or packages. Water the indoor plants every three days (the watering can is by the balcony). On Mondays and Thursdays, wheel out the trash bins for collection. Before bedtime, double-check that all doors and windows are locked. And in case of any hiccups, our trusty neighbour, Mr. Johnson, at 3456, has a spare key and knows the drill.
