Abstract
We carried out induced polarization and electrical resistivity methods to study the potential of copper-bearing minerals, including sulfide and carbonate phases, in an area southwest of Danesfahan in Qazvin province, NW Iran. Eleven profiles of dipole-dipole and pole-dipole arrays were designed, where the minimum length of electrode profiles, the profile spacing, and the total number of data were 100 m, 5 m, and 1961, respectively. The two profiling methods were used to obtain the both advantages of high resolution and high penetration depth. We used RES2DINV software to process the survey data. By applying inversion methods on apparent resistivity and chargeability properties the sections of the corresponding properties were obtained.
